Glazing Your Windows
If you feel that your current windows appear to be looking a little drab, then you will probably find that glazing is your best way forward. Here at Local Emergency Glazing, we can give a new lease of life to your windows, whilst also giving that extra added insulation that your home may need.
We have expert technicians who are 100% committed to making sure that the do the best job possible. To do this, they always make sure that they have all of the required items and tools on hand to do a professional glazing job.
To do the best job possible, we will gather up all of your windows in to one place, to prevent having to constantly run up and down ladders. We remove your current glazing, any putty and the points, which are the small pieces of metal, holding the glass in place.
We apply the new glazing by either using a caulking tube or we just simply use our hands. Each technician has their own individual ways of doing it but each way is just as effective as the next. Once we have applied your new glazing, it will need time to dry. This could take a while, sometimes even a few days, so if your glazing is still damp after a couple of days, do not worry, it is perfectly normal.
If you have any queries regarding the glazing of your windows or if you have any questions about any aspect of glazing at all, please feel free to get in contact with us, where we will have a friendly member of our knowledgeable staff help you with your glazing needs.
